Award name: Sheffield Hallam University Vice-Chancellor’s ASEAN Scholarship

To celebrate the official launch of the Sheffield Hallam University South East Asia regional office in Kuala Lumpur in March 2009, one full tuition-fee scholarship is available to an applicant from South East Asia for a 2009/10 postgraduate course.

All full-time postgraduate taught courses are taking part in this scheme.

The successful applicant will be awarded with a certificate to mark their achievement at an annual Prize-winners’ reception.

Eligibility criteria
You are eligible to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s ASEAN Scholarship if

  • you are a national of a South East Asian country (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and are classed as an international student for fees purposes
  • you can meet the course entry requirements as specified in your offer, including a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
  • you have accepted your offer
  • you can demonstrate personal, academic or professional achievement in your personal statement, as part of your scholarship application

How to apply
Applications for the Vice-Chancellor ASEAN Scholarship should be submitted with, or following, an application for a full-time postgraduate taught course.

Scholarship applications for courses starting in September and October 2009 must be submitted by .

Scholarship applications for courses starting in January and February 2010 must be submitted by 30 November 2009.

IPB S1 Rabobank Scholarships for the 2009/2010 New Student Undergraduate Scholarship IPB Rabobank "We Value Your Potential"


Rabobank Indonesia gives 5 (five) scholarships for new students S1 IPB 2009/2010 school year from one of the majors in the following faculties:

* Agriculture
* Agricultural Technology
* Economic Management

IPB S1 Rabobank Scholarships include:
Tuition fees and living expenses allowance, cost of books and research costs in the context of writing a thesis for 4 (four) years, or 8 (eight) semesters (conditions apply)

Beasiswa S1 registration requirements IPB Rabobank 2009/2010:

1. Indonesian citizen;

2. Has an average score of at least 8.0 National Examination;

3. Come from poor families evidenced by a certificate from the ravine poor / camat accompanied by evidence of electricity bills;

4. Sending the application form completed;

5. Proficient in English;

6. Attach a photocopy of a valid identity card and passport photo color, size 4 x 6;

7. Not currently receiving other scholarships;

8. Willing to comply with all regulations imposed by the Rabobank Indonesia relationship with S1 scholarship program this IPB.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships at Griffith University Program 2009

Griffith University International Postgraduate Research 2009, Australia:

The GUIPRS is designed to attract and support highly ranked international applicants during the University’s annual postgraduate research scholarship round. The scheme extends the provision of tuition fees scholarshipsbeyond the University’s allocated International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS).

The GUIPRS covers tuition fees for the student and overseas student health cover (OSHC) for the student and ependant(s). No other expenses are paid by this scheme, but award recipients may seek additional funding from alternative sources.

Eligibility
The IPRS is available to international students only. Applicants must have completed, or expect to complete, four years of higher education studies at a very high level and be intending to enrol full-time in an approved doctoral or research masters program.

Part-time awards may be offered to students who, for social or medical reasons, are unable to study full-time.

Duration
The IPRS may be held for up to two years for a research masters program and up to three years for a doctoral program. A six month extension may be granted to doctoral students in certain circumstances.

Applications for the Annual Scholarship Round must be submitted by 31 October. Applications may be submitted at anytime before this date, however cannot be considered until after 31 October.
